Only cost is what you consume - you order, you pay, you drink. Or not - no minimum!

STOP 1: 6pm - Jimmy’s 43
43 E. 7th St. (between 2nd & 3rd Aves.)
Jimmy is a lovely, welcoming proprietor, and a darn good chef to boot. Come on down the “rabbit hole” and enjoy the intimate rooms in this one-of-a-kind gastro-pub. We may be in the back room.

STOP 2: 7pm - Augurs Well
115 St. Mark’s Place (between 1st Ave. & Ave. A)
I do appreciate a play on words. A friend told me about his bar, and we love its intimate space -- the open front is inviting.
Serves food – I hear the sliders are great. Accepts credit cards.
STOP 3: 8pm - ABC Beer
96 Ave. C (between 6th & 7th Sts.)
With a craft beer shop in front and a hangout in back, what else do you need? This spot stole my heart. If you really can’t tolerate beer, directly next door is the sleek little “Lois” (98 Ave. C), where you can get 16 wines on tap (and one beer and one cider). Pick either spot, and we’ll all move on together afterward.

STOP 4: 9pm - IIIrd Man
116 Ave. C (between 7th & 8th Sts.)
Chill bar with unique, outdoor booths in front. Good cocktails, wine, and 8 interesting beers from Germany, Mexico, USA (no draft).
Serves Austrian food from ‘Edi & the Wolf’ next door. Accepts credit cards.
STOP 5: 10pm - Grape & Grain
620 E. 6th St. (between Aves. B & C)
A small, lovely haven of a bar with candles, chandeliers, and a clean design. When the main room is full, they open up the small bar next door, so look for us in either place. Beer/wine only.
Serves food (small plates). Accepts credit cards.
STOP 6: 11pm - EVS (East Village Social)
126 St. Mark’s Place (between 1st Ave. & Ave. A)
Yes, we’ve looped back across the street from Stop #2 (Augurs Well). EVS is a cozy, casual spot for the end of the night. Full bar.
Serves sandwiches and appetizers until 4am. Accepts credit cards.
